The metal legs were headed to the dumpster -- what remains from broken counter stools. The pallets were to be junked, also...

But because we love making old things new, we decided to add something "new" to our inventory.

Almost every physical component of these tables have been repurposed. We told you about the sleek metal legs -- well, they didn't need much work -- and certainly shouldn't be rusting away in a landfill.

The table tops were created from pallets -- strictly using only the wood that came from pallets so as not to waste any. We even re-used the nails removed when we pulled the pallets apart!

The result: Truly, one-of-a-kind rustic/primitive pieces perfect for displaying plants, flowers, books, framed pictures or a prized lamp. The clear-coated brown table measures about 25 inches by 17.5 inches and is 26 inches tall.

If you don't like rough wood, knot holes or even nail holes, these aren't the pieces for you.

But if you take recycling seriously and can see beauty in imperfection, we think you're going to like this.
